HOW MUCH SPACE WILL I NEED FOR THE BREWERY?

The engineering includes layout design, including the requirement for, and locations of, all necessary connection points for water, gas, electricity, waste etc. The layout will obviously always be consulted with the customer to comply with all design and ergonomic requirements and not to increase financial demand for assembly and assembly material.
HOW IS THE BREWHOUSE HEATED?
The brewhouse is heated with steam with the help of the brewing tank bottom and coat duplicator. The steam is generated in quick steam generators, either electric or gas. We prefer this variant for the reason of economy of operation and adequacy of investment costs. On customer request we can also use a different heating method and a different number of the brewing tanks.
HOW WILL COOLING BE IMPLEMENTED?
Cooling is provided by a glycol cooling unit. This unit assures cooling of all necessary tanks and production of ice water for the purpose of Hopped wort cooling and fermentation. Depending on the brewery size and customer demand we are able to supply one or two units. One for the tank cooling and the other for the hopped wort cooling. The cooling is implemented by single-stage steam circulation. The condenser is air cooled, installed either directly on the cooler frame or outdoors. Glycol is cooled by a flat exchanger - vaporizer. Glycol is circulated from a pressure-free storage tank installed on the equipment frame by a circulation pump. The coolant used is R 404A.
WHAT BEER TYPES CAN BE BREWED IN MY BREWHOUSE?
Brewhouses made by EBIA CZ can be used for brewing virtually any beer type made by either infusion or decotion brewing methods. It needs to be said that we always try to meet customer desires and requirements. In addition to double-tank brewhouses we are also able to supply multiple-tank ones with brewing boilers for adjuncts, ith an internal or external hopped wort brewing tank etc.
WHAT FERMENTATION CAN BE CHOSEN FOR YOUR TANKS?
This question must be resolved before commencing the manufacture of the brewery. We are able to meet virtually any customer requirement. Everything depends on the customer wishes, the space available, investment value and fermentation method. The information we need at this stage is whether the customer intends top or bottom, single or double-stage fermentation. EBIA CZ is able to produce cylindro-conical fermenters tailored to your needs, closed fermentation tanks, open fermenting cellars, vertical or horizontal lager tanks etc.
WHAT ABOUT BEER FILTRATION AND BOTTLING?
The brewery concept also includes auxiliary equipment for ready beer adaptation if the customer so wishes. Beer filtration can be performed by several methods, such as candle diatomaceous earth filtration, cross-flow filtration, micro filtration etc. This depends on how the customer wants his beer to be treated and on the amount of the planned investment. The same applies to beer bottling to transport packages. In cooperation with our partners we are able to supply equipment corresponding to your capacity and investment demands.
WHOM SHALL I ADDRESS FOR RECIPES?
You are welcome to address our brewers who possess extensive experience in beer brewing not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. They will prepare recipes for you not only for brewing traditional lagers of the Czech type,but also for brewing beer types such as stout, ale, weiss, marzen, bock, porter, etc. Our brewers will not only prepare the recipes but also brew according to them using our equipment installed for you and tune them up to your full satisfaction. This can be supported by the number of awards obtained by them on the international brewing stage for beers prepared by our brewers for our customers.
WHAT DOCUMENTATION SHALL I HAVE AND WHERE DO I OBTAIN IT?
You can address this question to our brewers - technologists too. In the context of the engineering stage they will prepare brewing sheets, beer passports and all necessary technological evidence of brewing for you, tailor made for your brewery manufactured and implemented by us.
IS PROFESSIONAL TRAINING NECESSARY FOR BEER BREWING?
Yes. Beer brewing is a licensed concession and training or work experience in the field is necessary for obtaining a licence for beer brewing. If you do not possess the required credentials we can provide one of our professional brewers as the "guarantor" for the first years of your brewing business.
